Just what I've always wanted

Post by crazydave »

It was about 10 years ago when I first got serious about RC. One of my hang ups back then was that race trucks looked kinda goofy and nothing like real trucks, and Tamiya stadium trucks were reallistic, but not really race oriented. We now finally 10 years later my prayers have been answered, by Thundertech Racing.

Even the chassis closely resembles the tube frames of real racing trucks, and the trailing arm rear end also lends to the realism. It looks race ready to me. I'm sure it doesn't handle as well as like say a XXT, but you have accept compromises when when things are more true to scale.

Throw on a body, and I'm diggin' it.

Since they haven't even announced the price yet, this is going in my "someday" stack, but its right on top of the stack. :-o
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Tentative kit price: $350.00 (subject to change)
Looks like a very, very nice rig, I think I've seen it before actually. Quite a mishmash of parts, too, saves allot when buying the kit. :-o

it's cool to see how scale-built stuff is starting to make an emergence again, without too many sacrifices in performance. I'd totally buy one of these. :-o

Here's hoping they don't need as much tool-time as the real thing following a crash. :???:

The weight distribution looks pretty good. I'm not to sure on the motor location. In all, I like the newer scale-like stuff coming out.

Now that I've looked at this thread about 100 times.
