Does anyone know a link that describes how to convert a bit into some type of monster truck?
And does anyone know a online shop where I can by springs for my bit, bigger tires, motors, fets ect?
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
Betty, I have found your articles extreemley helpfull & im just about to join the steering section of the bit to the motor housing. But how do I re-connect the steering wires to the PCB when im ready to do that?
But does that mean I need a soldering iorn where I can adjust the temp? Because I've heard soldering iorns melt the wire? Mines just a normal electric one, no temp setting. I suppose I could turn it on, and turn it off to let it cool down to the temp I want.
I would just drop a bit in there and then put the stearing wire in. This way it avoids contact to the iron. Also fold up the end once or twice to make it a bit thicker.
heh, i have an adjustable temp one. you cant make them not heat up. ive found taht mine is just how slow it heats up, you cant keep it at the same rate forever.
