Oh shit, it’s Brian. Nah just another copy of that car. Wait! What is that?

Tail lights
EL wire under-glow

Rear suspension on hold awaiting parts, also in the works is an improved rear axle. This car will also get a ZZMT motor as soon as I finish playing around with the axle. As it is it turns the speed checker at 14Km/h with the ZipZap NX motor and is exceptionally drivable.

I get my EL wire from a friend who hooks me up with end pieces off great big rolls, and the inverters are usually parts from the same process. The wire is 0.9mm it has the smallest exciter wires you’ve ever seen, since I got a little out of practice it only took me 6 tries to solder them to the inverter wires without breaking or shorting. There are lots of people selling EL wire and inverters over the internet these days, even 1mm and smaller.

Since the car was made completely out of spare and left over parts I had no out of pocket expenses for this one at all. If you had a couple of broken SE’s laying around it wouldn’t cost much to make except for the circuit board, and they use to be pretty cheap. The SS bodies are sold separately, a Epoch or Iwaver CB, parts from one or two broken SE’s, extra hubs, extenders, and tires from a wheel kit, battery, and the lights. Except for the lights widening the rear axle is the only hard or tricky part.

Still working on the ZZMT tut,I need to take circuit board installation photo’s, got carried away on the last one and forgot, then after seeing Sat’s SE I just had to use my last IW02 CB on one instead of the tut, but I will finish just as soon as I get another CB.

Lemme know when that tut is done, I'd be cool if that were published in the bitPimps Articles, all creds to you of course, that is - if you're cool with it.

Now that is a fuckin cool ride. My big question, do you just charge it on a slighly modded SE controller or what? :???:

I gave it a small micro plug so I wouldn’t have to take the body off just plug the Triton in and charge, but it’s so easy to swap the battery out I haven’t been using it I just slap in a fresh one. I’ve only changed the battery twice a full charge on the 145mAh LiPo seems to last forever even with the lights.
