Yokomo Pychi Maru
Well, I went to an LHS today that I hadn't been to in years, and saw something that caught my eye. I had seen this little thing on the self for a good 3-4 years, and always avioded it because it was 100 bucks or so and I felt a micro wasn't worth it. Today I went in, and noticed it with a new pricetag: 28 bucks. I figured I've spent more on junk 1:64s, so what the hell, at least it's a yokomo and probably decent.
So I decided to open it there and discovered a few nice things:
1. FM 27 Mhz WITH MODULE. Very surprising to me.
2. Fully propo.
3. Perfectly scaled.
4. (You're gonna love this) An actual rear diff in a 1:6X car!
What kinda sucks is that it has small wheels, which makes it useful for only desks, smooth, clean floors, and VERY low pile carpeting. It's definitely worth the 28 bucks.

In other countries it was called the Petit Maru, over here in the states it's Puchi Maru.
I had gotten one (the Puchi) shortly after they first came out. Paid about $50 or $60 for it. They went on clearance pretty damned quick.
Here's some old pics of mine:

I didn't care for it...Even though it's full propo:
- It's slowwww
- It's bulky (forget going low profile with this chassis)
- The steering binds easily
Still, for $28 I'd snatch another one up to frankenstein it out.
