Not sure what to do with the smiling bumper.
Two holes for the dimples and a oval inbetween ?

Would be hard to match paint color.
Don't want to repaint whole car...Kind of like the lighting bolt on the side.

Yeah, its gonna be nearly impossible to to putty that in and keep the original paint job. The only thing I could suggest is that maybe you could get creative. like maybe give the front end a bit a of a body kit, and paint it flat black, so it looks like it was repaired or added later. Maybe get some of that aluminum tape they use to hold their stock cars together when they wreck, and put tiny strips on like its holding the front end on. You know what I'm saying, just use your imagination.

On the Tow Mater project I just cut the dang thing out and put a grill in what I would do is putty it in like was said before then paint the whole body a red it would not take long and would look real good.

You could always put the rally lights in the front where the smile is glue some lights to a small bar and mount the bar right into the smile.
