Squished-Mod

Post by sg219 »

TRU and Wally World sell these cars that are called two different things but the same car for $10.

Super Drift and Import Tunerz

I could be wrong on the names, I did this so long ago and threw away the box.

I jammed an Xmod under one.

Small and compact size and a really cool and light body.

The tires from these cars also work on Xmods.

To do this you need to go 2WD unless you make a custom shortened driveshaft. For this I did my driveshaft elimination mod. Grind down a front axle and mount it thru the rear shaft holder and bearing, then epoxy it to the read gear.

Sweet, fast, and small 2wd ride. :-o

yep, i've seen these before, cool little buggers. (augh, am i picking up ph2t-speak? damn...)

of course, we have to deal with the rims being ridiculously out of proportion.

Thanks guys.

I'm not going to paint it or anything. I like the body as is.

BTW...It's held on with velcro on the battery clips. The velcro makes the sides push out a bit, but nothing major.
