Hey what up y'all! im new here (ohh yeah!) but ive been modding my bits for awhile, mostly just pimpin' em out for races. But i wanna make a off-roader i have a nice clone thats waitn to under go transformation.

what i wanna do tho is:

-betta tires
-raise body from chassis
-dual cell
-and the rear suspension dealy ive heard about

anybody know where i can get some nice tires, i got some lego tires but there to heavy to use to steer with. so i was thinkin' of choppin em in half and reduce the weight so the shitty little magnet isnt pullin for its life.

I have a idea for raising the body from the chassis, but if someones got a good one ill prolly use that.

dual cell im still workin out the problems on it, got a stand alone tho

and the rear suspension i got no dam clue, so it someones got a link fo it that it be bitchin

if any of you's have suggestions for this "work in progress" plz say so cus i want this thing to fly!!!

BTW the body is a hummer

thanks

Peace

im not sure if this is the right section of the forum for this... but im not sure. to steer the tires your probably going to need to fet up the steering, or the easier solution, make the tires smaller. Look at Betty.k's offroad bits, i wish i had a link. Betty.k is the single greatest offroad bit master of the hood, no doubt at all.

hey hey cadi! :-) i like the way you think  the link to my homepage is just below in my signature. have a look through the tutorials and galleries pages, if you still have any questions ask away
lego wheels are great, but for pure offroading use the small ones as i've never been able to get great steering with monster wheels in the rough, especially with the tomy style chassis. if you're just driving on concrete then you can upsize the wheels, i used hot wheels tunerz wheels on my monster.

you can buy the tyres online, but i don't think they make the old style wheels anymore, you'll have to hunt for them.

as for mounting check the wheels tutorial.
