What the hell happened there? Did you run the hell out of it or what? I've run about 10 triple charges through mine so far and it just gets smoother everytime I use it. I guess I'll have to go outside and poor a little bur on the sidewalk for your dead r-spec...lolkwikbb wrote:On a sad note, my R-spec seems to have passed away in my sleep. I can only speculate that it was a 'Retribution Attack' and my poor R-spec paid the price... *sob* But Don't Think that this incedent will go unanswered!

I don't quite know, it was acting squirlly when i had first recieved it. It would have a hesitation or sometimes a studder on take-off, whether in forward or reverse. I thought that after breaking it in it would cease... well it did... it cease to exist. Funny coincidence though, the last timepayaso wrote:What the hell happened there? I used it was just before I tested the 2.2 before sending it out to you... hmm it may have become overwhelmed with jealousy.

I recieved my replacement R-spec a day ago and now i'm going through the motions of "break'n it in". In my mini-review of the formula34, I stated that i was thinking of "changing the gear ratio to 12:1". Welp scratch that cause I can't, right now anyway, run the replacement R-spec w/o the 12:1 axel. For some reason it won't even get on up with a 9.86:1 axel, in addition the formula34 break-in was less painstaking than this. More to come on the R-spec... hopefully things will turn around.

Yea pretty much, it won't get out of it's own way! I'm gonna continue to cycle it and I'll keep you guy's updated on it.payaso wrote:Are you saying that your R-spec won't run with the orange gears?

Aight kids, here's the deal with the R-spec... this Ho's a power hungry biatch yall! And I also think that I gathered more evidence to support my theory that the Wild Char-g can't go any faster than it already does.... Alrighty first things first, my continuing problem was a nasty studder coupled with the fact that i had to give it a nudge to get it going... and no matter how many times I would re-seat the motor it would constantly occur. So I'd put it through the motions of "break'n it in", still no better... keep in mind that i'm double charg'n too. It still was not enough for this Ho!
So i got to thinking about my theory on how the Wild char-g runs at full boost all the time, hence the motor being fed much more juice than a standard char-g PCB would put out. I proceeded to pop the R-spec in to my Wild and OMG this muthafunkas' like a damn tsunami kid! I thought I was impressed when I dropped the Formula34 into this monster... well kiddies not as impressed as the R-spec. I'm salivating right now at the thought of dual battery mod in the mud spit'n monster. so to make along and painful science project short, if you think it's broken... don't sweat it, it's only showing it's true colors. This motor needs to be bottle fed and i don't mean mothers milk.
More Power is the key! Time to Play!
