Did you pick up Mater?

DT is right on. If it is possible, take it back.. Some of us may have bad ones sitting in an unopened packages. Then we can break out the soldering iron :-o I haven't heard or read of the new ones having issues.......then again, I may have not paid attention.

yeah, no i didnt get mater i got the porche, im thinking about painting it a shinny black coating and possibly putting in real glass for the windows and windshield ^^
but you know i dont even care about the steering problems now, because it atually requires some skill with that controller to get it to go where you want with all the stuttering and wheel not realigning, its three times as fun now XD
so glad i got this little sucker, but is there some sort of resister on it?
and btw does anyone still know what screw driver i have to use to get the body off of the pcb board? thanks itd be really appreciated, tons easier cleaning out the hair n crap that got deep in the wheels.

All tools you need are included in the package.
I think the screwdriver is pluged into the back of the controller, if not the bottom.

Amen.

I'll fiddle with a $5 clone, but when you pay $20 for a Zip Zap, some of that money is paying for your option to take it back if it don't work, and for $20 it better work.

Sounds to me like you're saying the steering doesn't want to return to center, so I'm guess the steering spring must've fallen out of place. Should be easy to fix, but RS owes you a working car, so why bother. :-o
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
