Associated SC10
While they've had their SC8, it would seem that the Traxxas Slash is hogging the spotlight, so it stands to reason that Associated would make the jump to 1/10th scale.
I think things just got interesting, because part of the reason racing classes with the Slash are popping up everywhere is because we've needed a run for fun, bump and jump spec class for years. Now we have the SC10, based off the 6 time ROAR national champion T4 chassis. The Slash has a Stampede style chassis, that raises the battery up, and gives the truck that lean in the the corners like the big trucks have, that's part of the fun, but the SC10 is low and lean and built to race, doesn't seem like it would be very fair to the Slash guys. I wonder if this will create the need for another class.

I almost bought one of those a few days ago...I'd caught the "have to get something new bug" pretty bad and I have to admit those looked really tempting, especially since I've never been disappointed with any Associated product...ok, almost never.

It's cool that associated has come out with this truck, but seeing as it's based on an already existing chassis, it looks very very short. That throws off the scale aspect and to me it's a mark against it.

Re: Associated SC10
You're right about it looking a bit stumpy. But I think it's just the body that throws it off. Or maybe the tires...?
If the specs on Tower's site is accurate, the SC10 wheelbase is only 8mm shorter.

Re: Associated SC10
