Radline, are they holding the oil? I picked up a set and on one shock the oil ran out overnight, the others were fine but I took them back the next day so I don't know if they stayed sealed. I would have picked up more but that was the last in stock set so I just took a refund.
Anyways, sound good.

I've had some leak down on a few in the set I put on my Radline Stadium, but it's slow and I haven't noticed enough to make me tear it down to fix or try to source better micro shocks for this build yet. (Uh, does anybody else make oil damped this small?)
I took these out, oiled, bled, made sure preload moved smooth, changed springs, and stuck them back in the plastic in the box, they still seem to be holding after a couple days. They feel like they could probably go for a tiny piece of closed cell foam in the cap though, or even better a metering plate instead of the rubber bead.

Zombie time.
So, the ZZ Ramone body I made a while ago to add to the "Cars" movie line had a Pullback motor chassis, and was sitting next to my frame... Hmm.
New game plan: Leaf springs.
After all this time still couldn't find good material for links, shocks were too long, other excuses. Leaf spring should make life easier to build a runner.
I'm still playing around with mockups, but it's looking better

It gets worse. I stuffed someone elses guts in Ramones body too. And just for you sidewinder, a little
Seeing a mockup sprung chassis is much better than continuing to obsess over links. Axle plates, and chassis mounts are probably up next. The springs I made might be a little too soft, but it articulates nice!

Sorry to dig up (Well it's only a few threads down) an old post.. but.
Firstly I'm just wondering if this came to be any further ?
Secondly, if you're after good leaf spring material, rip open something that's pull back and go.
There's some fantastic metal in there, ready curved that makes fantastic leaves. Perfect for this scale.
Would love to see this get done.. .
If not, I'll take axles off your hands for a real live Kiwi.

Keep getting side tracked with other projects. slow progress, mostly learning I suck at making leaf springs this small.
