I've shown the progress, now she's done (I am going to clear coat it, but I figured I would photograph it before I screw it up). Now it's time to cruise to the O for a dog and some fries.

thanks again to Cabo for the idea on this one

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

That came out killer. You do take great photos. The way the lighting, and background work with the purple on the car, That's great, beautiful man.

I like the hint of the seats, and the TC rims work well for that car.

What else can I say, great work!

Thanks for all the compliments... y'all really know how to choke a guy up, here.

Stoli-- the secret is ancient and chinese... actually I just took SuperFly's advice and started letting the paint dry for a week or so before adding the next color or details. Once you get a smooth wet coat, don't even look at it for a week. Now I have a few going at once soze I don't get impatient.

DT-- yeah, I was given a really cool dual action air brush about 10 years ago... last month I finally got a compressor and fired it up. I'm just starting to get the hang of it.

SuperFly-- yer mom left her camera at my place, so I used that.

hogjowlz-- model masters enamel (custom mix)... I want to try some of the lacquer that crazydave's been using. It sounds like you've had good results with that candy clear lacquer as well.

Thanks again for the kind words,

Oh yeah, hog... the "cruise to the O for a dog and some fries" was for you. I watched a documentary on hot dogs on PBS and they made it sound like this place in Pittsburgh called "the original" or "the O", as most of them said, was legendary. So, I figured I'd toss that in... I dunno, heard of the place?
