i gota agree with the clown. the new zipaps are cool but the bits are easier to make fast. zipzaps are heavier. bits with a really tight jbwelded rear outaccelerate and track straighter than a zipzap with the same mods.payaso wrote:Not in my neighborhood... I will be picking up a ton of the new ZZ 2.0, but I stomp on the old ones with my bits..extrememicros wrote:, honestly, a normal zip zap out handles a bit any day.
Holla!
I'm what you might call the "Michael Schumacher" <sp? of bits...lol

Well, in my own personal experience, and opinion, I think single cell bits handle better, but I think dual-and tri- cell ZZs handle better than a dual cell bit, and I wouldn't even bother tri-celling a bit. Just because the ZZ doesn't flip as easy.hogjowlz wrote:i gota agree with the clown. the new zipaps are cool but the bits are easier to make fast. zipzaps are heavier. bits with a really tight jbwelded rear outaccelerate and track straighter than a zipzap with the same mods.payaso wrote:Not in my neighborhood... but all my zipzaps handle better than my bits, with the same mods
i also think the weight of the zip zap helps handling, and with fets, reduces the backflip effect of bits
i have double fet'd my zip zap forward, single cell, on my nuvolari and this setup is both my fastest and best handler for tracks and 1/4 miles
i have 14 working bits, 10 working clones, and 3 working zips
and id rather charge up my zips first to mess around with

I know this has been BEATEN to death ( questions regarding scale) but i truly want a 1/43rd scale rc car from Radio Shack ( i.e. an Upgraded , better handling Epoch clone ...which doesnt seem like a stretch considering that the handling was pretty much the only MAJOR issue).
Will these XMODS be 1/43 or are they going to be the Mini Z size ( 6 inches)?

Not that i REALLY care but where did you acquire your infor from CJ. Im happy to read that but just curious ya know?
Somebody fill me in....whats the deal with the Mini Z...how wide are they...same width as the Corvette/Viper? The reason i ask is id like to run these things on concrete and everyone suggest Epochs wont handle the MUDDA F******G STREETZ as well as the Mini Z.
