I removed the hood intake, because someone had stated that Skylines don't use hood scoops, and all the pics I reveiwed did not show any.

So What Ahh5hit, just because the others didn't doesn't mean U can't! That's originality Pimp! Pimp dat Hood Scoop man! Just shape it to form to the hood but personally I like the idea myself! U in Da Hood Pimp, we don't conform to their rules, we break um!

Here is what I have so far. I painted metallic dark blue stripes across the top. Next, I'm gonna paint the details.

I used Tamyia masking tape. I swear by that stuff now. It has really clean, sharp edges. The trick is to remove the masking tape while the paint is still wet, just do it slowly.

So you painted the whole shell black and then put down the masking tape and then painted it white?

No, I painted it white first, couldn't decide what I wanted to do after that. I then masked it off and painted the stripes dark metallic blue.
