Easy Rear Drop for Skyline 2000 GT-R's

Post by Yugo DSC Maxxer »

Ok!
If you look at the back tab-slot-thingy of your Skyline 2000 GT-R...
You can see 4 'Support Beams' from the trunk...
In the inner two 'beams' have little indents in them....
Now, break out the X-Acto and start choppin' that sucker so that the little indent is kinda like a big 'C' or a big '<'.... Make sure it doesn't get hacked TROUGH the backend.....that would be BBBBAAADDD!:-x! Now there MIGHT be a need for a little bit of shaving for the rear wheels....but there wasn't the need on mine....
Now with that done, there is EXTREMELY SMALL amount of space from the rear wheels and the fender-flares....
If you take out the suspension stabistus, that also drops the front, because I couldn't find the need for the front suspension anyway....
I hope y'all have fun with your newly-dropped Skyline 2000 GT-R's....

Actually I find that the front stabili helps the cars turn sharper. I can't run on my tight track without them. I've actually been able to dial in my steering by bending at that bar.

Most of the newer bit bodies are longer, and have an easy to mod slot like the GT2000.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
