The 28k motor is the best in this thing. The propo throttle doesn't seem to work real well with the less tourqey motors above the 28k. I didn't see a big difference with the 34k and Perfection 4.2. I can easily make the back end slide around with the 28k. The range is over 15ft, that's as far as I can drive it here in the kitchen. This cars has some very sharp turning even at high speeds.
All parts are interchangable except the front knuckles. The older bodies will fit, but the SE chassis is wider and some of the narrow bodies have to be spread out a little to slip over.

No SuperBit problem here. The steering mechanism feels pretty durable and is actually pretty simple looking. The response doesn't have the quick snap of a normal Zip, but I would say it's very responsive for a propo steering. I do find the slalom easier to navigate with the wheel type controller and being able to only turn the wheels half way rather than full left or right. I have noticed that it doesn't have the quick get up and go starts that the full on regular Zips do.

since tinyrc basically locked this post over there because they moved it to the stupid forum, i will repost my question here.
How far is the range?
How does the speed compare to a bit with a 2.2?
How long does the battery last?
And is the controller comfortable to hold when you hold the squareish part?

That looks pretty cool to me. The body is kinda lame, but I like that the headlights are in the body, so you could switch bodies to ditch the lights.
The controller looks pretty cool to me too. I like that it has all 6 frequencies.
I'm kinda disappointed that they lack snap off the line, but I'll have to try it myself before I worry about it. The proportional control will probably make up for that.

The farthest I can even go in my kitchen is about 15 feet and it does that easily. With the stock red motor in it, it is just as fast as a bit 2.2. The controller is a little akward at first, but after getting used to it, I really like it. You will develope a feel for it. With a 28k motor in it, the battery lasts about 5 minutes without the lights plugged in, and about 4 minutes with the lights plugged in.
Crazydave: I don't like the take-off either, but IMO, I really enjoy the propo steering and being able to slow for turns, etc., and then gun it and kick the rear end around. Worth the trade off for me.
