Simple mods to my Zip Zaps SE Savanna.
Just some quick work I did. Added the skirts and added to the spoiler. Lowered body as much as I could and still keep the light system PCB in tact. I did a clean enough job, I really don't even have to paint it, but it will eventually get a custom job.

It's a shame you can't drop it any more. When I saw the 1st two pics it didn't look like it was dropped at all, then to see the comparison, what a difference !!! The stock one looks like an off-roader for real! But I guess with all the gagetry under there something hadda suffer! Did you tab or body lower it ?

It will be tab lowered. I already removed the existing ones to see how low I could go. Right now, it's just sitting on the chassis. The skirts I made kinda hold it on the chassis by squeezing it. It's a nice tight fit. Adding the tabs should be no problem. The only mechanical mod I'm looking at right now is a 4x Laymans Cell. Not sure if the juice will be too much for the PCB. If it smokes, at least it might burn some of that damn crap covering the PCB.
EDIT: It could be lowered maybe another 1/16" if I either remove or move the LED PCB mounted under the body to the rear and rewire it.

Hehe, I didn't mean it like that. It's not that I don't like it, I just couldn't quite figure out what car it was meant to replicate. I think your body mod is nice, though I do think the car could use some painted details. It looks a little like decals got applied to a body that was just primered. that's not a knock on your work, I assume that's how it came from RS. Your lowering job is nice too, but i agree with DT, if you didn't have the original next to it you wouldn't notice.
