My thoughts exactly.................................Well thanks for what you;ve told us so far! I might just save my wallet and wait for XMods and go SE later.
I am going to make some assumptions here that should be obvious but if im incorrect please let me know.
a) Canada wont be seeing XMODS for some time . As in at least a year.
b) You will be able to order the XMODs via the RS 1-800 # despite them not being in every physical store.
c) Despite Mini Z's being listed at 1:28 scale ( 6'') these XMODS should be at 1:24 scale ...so does that make them 5.5'' (in a nutshell some where between Epoch and Mini Z)?
Sessiz ....btw...i finally found out what your real name is in reference to. Just by chance i happened to be reading and there it was .............

I'm still 60/40 on if I'll be getting an xmod. My major concern is money, as in how much these will cost.

My apologies...thats what i meant ( in regard to scale accuracy). Although i believe i read some where that these "mini-z clones" would be a tad smaller than the actual mini z so i suppose i should ask THAT question...will these be a tad smaller or larger than the 6'' Mini Z?
Im really trying to go "small" in regard to these micro/mini cars but id like some performance also (and a nice shell ...). If the XMODS are larger than 6 inches....i dont know...i might as well go LARGE and get a big rc. ZZ SE is all fine and dandy but if the SS Tunerz are all that i have heard thats where my micro money is going. I was very close to picking up an Epoch but when news of the XMODS hit...well....it seems as if the price difference would be to much to ignore.
And Sessiz...i was reading THE RELIGIOUS BOOK ....how about that for a general attempt to protect privacy lol?

Well, I'm torn on the whole xmod thing. They seem pretty cool, and I'm guessing they'll be around $50-$60. I think my plan will be to get exactly one, and no more. The thing about bits that is so cool is the low cost of ownership, but that sorta becomes moot when you go and have 15 cars and still feel like you want more.
I'm liking that Supra the best.

just called radioshack at 9:15 pm (they close at 9) and i got some interesting weird news. I asked if any new ZZ products or SE's came in. He asked if I was looking for anything in particular and I said no. He said they had the supra, the rx-7 (im assuming 2f2f) and then he sais CORVETTE. I was like....ook.........
