Nox's 350z (M.F.Blue)

then I clear coated it... (not sure I like the end result of that job).

New alloys....(note the nubs still on them)
I mounted them on a 45MHz chassis...which will be nice in the races. (as an odd freq.)

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

So you finally got the nerves to paint the Z car huh? I know you debated over it.
I love that color, and them chues is bad ass. Do the front wheels turn freely with them meats up there?
As far as to what happen when you clear coated, a heavy coat of paint will melt the paint below it, it looks to me like that's what happened to you. that why you do several thin mist coats before you lay the final heavier (but not too heavy) coat, so that it just melts the clear coar below it together.

I Like It Nox ! Did you hand paint this one? Got a name for it....
Blu Marble
Very unique, don't know if you intended it that way but it came out great!
Are the alloys Toyo? I think next to your ZZ S2K, this is your finest work!
Keep It Up Pimp!
And the tag is a nice touch!
I'm going to be doing a BitPimp Tour Bus soon, I'll holla about certain decal ideas.

Yes, those are the tires that came with the Alloys...bought in the group buy with EZ.SuperFly wrote:That's sweet nox! Excellent masking and detail work. Are those the tires that came with the alloys? Rain tires?
Also, try using one of the $15 testor's airbrushes with Future floor polish. Don't have to worry about melting paint, and if you screw up it comes off with ammonia
yea..they have groves for water... or an attempt to have.
DT: that's a good name for it...
SuperF: you should write up a TUT on this Floor wax method. I'd give it a try, if I knew how.

Nice one nox.
The future floor polish is cool, alls you gotta do is dip it into it or (never tried it this way) You could probably use a brush to brush it on.
Superfly would do good to write up a tut on his method. I've tried it once and I didn't really get as good a gloss like I get from the clear coats.

So, I used that...

ALSO To Everyone..
I posted all the pictures I took of the car, GOOD and BAD.
I'm not afraid of showing the bad parts of the car.
(I say this, because some 'other' members will only show the best aspects of their cars.)
(I'm not here to impress you all, I'm here to learn on each project)
I wish I didn't clear coat it.
