Thanx Cabo, you're absolutely correct. I like using Duplicolor Automotive Paint. The first few coats go on dull and practically colorless. I use 1 coat when I paint to keep the details and it's really dull, but when I clearcoat it, the color comes to life! literally!
Though this body has numerous coats (4-6) of paint, being my first CaboWabo Fade job, hadda keep blending til I got it right, well close to right anyways! These are 2 colors that I was planning on using on a couple future projects so I just decided to blend them together and call it.....

That look really nice. I like how you cut out that whole section in the back for the exhaust.

...and great color choices, what's that copper lookin' color called?

Glad to hear you're using Dupli-Color. I love that stuff, someday I'll have everyone converted. Now you just gotta try the Plasti-Cote Candy Clear, not only brings out the colors, gives it a mile deep shine too.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

I bought the PlastiCoat white & gold a few weeks ago, got two more out Da Shop with these colors that I'll be Flossin this month, stay tuned.

The front is a Metallic Orange and the rear a Light Cherry Red. Looks almost like Copper, especially with the Copper Center Dubs !

PS.
Dave the lower facia is just painted black to give that "Cut Out" look. I see it worked !!!!!!

I always liked how DT took stock rims and painted the inner spokes, made them so much more prettier and fitting.

I know Dave, but it's done already! I took pics of SunRise and just put that chassis back on Cherry Bomb and called it a day. I guess I'll hafta do another one! Still waiting to Floss Mint Condition ??????
