Micro Stunt Vehicles

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

Micro Stunt Vehicles

Post by DarkTari »

I was at the mall on Tuesday and saw a mall vendor selling these for $25.00:

So I had to play around with it a lil. Fun for an 8-11 year old I'd say.
These are like the Tyco RC cars that came out a few years ago but these are approx 1/64 scale.

You know TE has them for $7.00 !!!!!

I thought they were stupid when I first saw them about 6 weeks ago and I stand on that decision. The only value would be if they could be gutted to make a proportional steering Bit. But since ZZ SE's are out there is no reason to waste my time.

Obviously only good for parts... but I'm sure it has plenty of those. I mean... damn... if you put those rims on a bit you'd be rollin on ... 44's!

Hey, the fan Man. Like you avatar. Did you draw it yourself :???: .

If you did, I would like to use it for a bonzer t shirt design. It has a certain quality :D ; that is important for bonzer 8)

Cheers

Just a little info on these boys. The wife picked one up for me about 2 weeks ago. Typical bullet clone style of controls as you can see. Great little charging mechanism though as they have a small cable that actually plugs into the bottom of the car from the controller. It takes just a hair longer than a normal bit/ZZ to charge but nothing outrageous.

Performance. The car has some great torque to it and the giant wheels and clearance helped it crawl across the carpet pretty well. That being said the steering is such a trip with the whole front end spinning that it is very hard to control and turn.

In all, it's kind of a cool micro to mess with but really nothing more than a a novelty toy.
"Go sell crazy somewhere else, we're all full here."

Stupidity should be painful.

Saw those at my mall too,

I was there with my mom and she was looking for a present for her grandson, and we walk up the the place (had those mini stunts and larger versions, also Panther dome clones) and look at the larger version she say "thats expensive" then the guy running the vendor says with some kinda Irarnian accent, "THIS IS NOT EXPENSIVE! YOU GET CHARGER AND CAR!" I felt like socking the guy in the face....
