Persuade me to buy a ZZ SE...
I don't have one yet for a couple reasons.
One, it won't fit on my custom charger, so I'll have to use the SE controller to charge it, which I don't like.
Two, I would need to pack around yet another controller. I already have to carry around and keep batteries in a 49mhz, a 49mhz boost and a 57mhz boost controller, as well as a 49mhz ZZ controller.
Three, I don't really like any of the ZZ SE bodies.
Four, I really like single speed mosfetted MS cars. I don't have too much of a problem with non-proportional speed and steering.
Do those of you that have them like them THAT much? $25 is half of another Xmod or 2 new Microsizers. I have seen a lot of mixed feelings about them, but it sounds like mosfetting them makes it not too bad. Do I really need one of these, or should I skip it? I don't have any Super bitChar-G cars either, and it sounds like I'm not missing out on much.

Seriously the only good thing abot sbcg's is the pullbacks, the shells are sweet. I'm not a fan of the 27mhz variety, they suffer all sorts of issues. The 40mhz might be ok though.
As to zzse's I think you should buy one just so I can say "look, there goes another bloody yank with his xmods and se's, why I'd like to......."
oh well......
ph2t.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I can't.
You have an Xmod, and plenty of space to run it in, why bother?
Really though, it's not like it's gonna put you in the poor house to buy one more micro RC, might well get one because as Cabo said, everyone else did.
Have you seen the Audi TT? I think it's pretty nice looking. And the headlights are a fun little novelty for tripping on acid.

Reason 1) As far as custom chargers for SE's, heres an easy one:
http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php ... adid=13862
Reason 2) Packing another controller. I cary a tomy 4 band controller that works for all my cars, even Zip Zaps. I wire the motors backwards in the zip zaps so they work right. I try to stay away from 49 mhz to avoid extra controllers, but I do have a couple. But, you could easily add or swap out a crystal in the 4 band controller to control 49 mhz. So that would drop you to one controller, plenty of room for an SE controller!
Reason 3) All zip zap bodies fit on the SE (old ones too). Plus, using the older bodies makes the SE lighter and faster, as well as handling better.
Reason 4) http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php ... adid=14242
I like the SE's so much, I will not buy any xmods. Besides, it is hard to run an xmod in the house (my house anyway). Of course, as fast as my fetted SE is, it can be hard to run in the house too! lol.
