Wow, the surfboard is an interesting twist... kinda makes me think crazydave's cali beetle was their "prototype."

No, Dave's bug is better because it has care put into every square inch of it. Appaulse & awwww sign goes on. Plus, that beetle doesn't have nearly as cool a paintjob on it.

Thanks for the props guys. :-)

I'll tell ya what the differenece is. My car took me all day to modify an existing car. They're probably knocking out 10,000 cars from scratch in one day.

You know, if it was just the covertable Beetle I'd think nothing of it, but the surfboard really makes me wonder, because I don't see the connection between surfboards and Beetles, besides my car. Aparently you guys were thinking the same.

Now I'm really not sure if I feel ripped off, or flattered.

I don't know, but either way, I suddenly feel like someones watching me.

Actually, this is good and bad for you. It's good because it shows that the stuff you make is so cool that perfection copied it, but it's bad because people will now say, "Wow that's a nice paint job on that perfection convertible. Anyway, I think this can make a good sig for you: CrazyDave, the original convertible beetle maker.
