LMAO...Yeah, seems kinda silly just to try to jack up the numbers like that.

...but I do think it would be kind of cool if there was a time when we could all get together at the same time...kind of a BitPimps party so to speak.

At my wife's forum they do crop circles, where they all work on their projects to gether, and show off what they're doing as they work. Maybe we could have a little mod party like that. You know, set aside a project, and we can post and mod, and mod and post...then again they are all women over at my wife's forum...maybe this is kinda gay.

Funny as hell. I was tracking right with ya there... sounded like a cool idea at first. Then, just as I was thinkin', "I feel kinda icky"... you turned the corner. We should probably let the "mod party" idea go.

tell ya what - I really don't feel like administering the server when it gets overloaded and stops responding for you pimps because there is an increadible amount of simultaneous connections....

go for it if ya wanna - but I can tell you now that if you get too many pimps on at once - you'll overload the server and it will bomb out until I have it rebooted.

I was actually thinking of something along similar lines, but more like an exquisite corpse writing project, except with a car (or cars). Kind of like the body that DarkTari started and sent CrazyDave to finish.

So say you have teams of 3 people: one person does chassis mods (mosfets, dual cells, springs, etc), one person does body mods (masking, putty, shaping, convertible, etc.) and the third person finishes it (paint, detail, decals, etc.)

The only problem would be who gets to keep it.

I bet you would see some interesting rides, and unexpected results.

Another way to do it is sort of round-robin, where 3 (or however many) people each start with a car, and do their thing, then mail it to the next person until it's been completed. Then everyone gets a car when it's all done.
