Perfection Heat Synks

Post by mekinhux »

I have been looking for one of these heat synks, but I'm not really sure about buying it. Can someone tell if it is worth it? And also the difference between TOP TENSION AERODYNAMIC ALUMINIUM HEAT SINK and ULTRA STRENGTH AERODYNAMIC ALUMINIUM HEAT SINK. I am interested in the black ones. Any suggestions?

BTW I have seen them on TE.

Thanks

i recommend these ones

these fit really well and look cool. you have to bend the clip a little to get them to fit properly, and these are strong enough. the high strength ones don't quite fit as well and break the plastic clip in my experience.
i used to be cool

I recommend the black ones as they absorb more heat. I ordered quite a lot from toyeast just before crimbo but its coming by ship, not very long to wait now. I ordered the black aerodynamic high strenth...one

Thanks guys. I already had one of those golden, but I don't know if it was ultra strength or top tension. Either way I sold it with my Enzo super bit...

Cheers

I really dont think you would be able to tell the difference, even if it is really 250% heat reduction. but i havent really tried any of those yet, mostly because of toyeasts GRRREAT shipping rates. :-(

the heat sinks are cool, i have about 20, so drop me a p.m., if you order from toyeast, the more foofy little stuff you get, the shipping $ drops. my shipping charge on a 25.00 order was somethin like 18.00, when i got to 40.00 it became 12.00 or so. i sniff alot of glue so my memory is a little fuzzy.
