dude, that thing scares the shit outta everyone I know.
it's huge, and when you're at the top, if it's windy, you're swaying about 6 feet out on each side, so 12 ft of movement at the top...

that shit will make your toenails curl up and your poop go all the way back into your stomach. lol

I passed that thing on a Greyhound bus when I was like 9 or so, and was blown away. Be glad yinz have a cool landmark like that. Pretty much all we got is an overlook and a fountain on the tip of a river confluence, and I guess thats cool or whatever, but it's not awe inspiring like that arch.

where else can you get fries on any kind of sandwich/salad you order??
this city is neat to look at yet very depressing haha. plenty of neat forests tho and good bike riding.

You hit the depressing part right on the head lol. And I am by no means putting down the 'burgh, I am 100% yinzer, born and raised (never been away from pgh for longer than 3 wks.), alls im saying is that arch is freakin spectacular. As for the fries and slaw on sandwiches, I've never been drunk enough to find that appealing, although I highly recommend O fries... for patching potholes! By the way, is that the vista from your office or your apartment? A young professional who has'nt left yet? You're some kind of anomaly(sp?) and I'm gonna have to have the Post Gazette do a series on you if that's the case lol.
