ZIP ZAP MANIA?
I was gettin some groceries earlier, and I passed the magazine rack and spotted the new (March) issue of RC Driver, so I picked it up to see if there was anything in it of interest. Right on the cover it says "ZIP ZAP MANIA - INSIDE RADIO SHACK'S RACER" Lo and behold, inside on page 146-147 is a review of the ZZSE which says a lot of nice things. Wow. I never thought I'd see the day.

I saw a zipzaps commercial during the super bowl...
and then I was delusional and wishing to see a bitPimps ride cruise across the screen (never happened though)

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

It took RCCA a loooooooooong time to take rtr's seriously, too, even though there were some nice ones early on. Now that seems like it's all people are buying. Maybe this new mag will be more open to "non hobby-class" stuff since it's edited by Greg Vogel, and he's a young pup. I remember reading RCCA in the 80's and being soooo jealous that those guys were giving this kid all this stuff to run. Maybe having him in charge of a 'zine will turn out to be a good thing for ALL areas of the r/c hobby.

I don't know much about it, but from the picture you paint - yea it sounds like he'll be a good guy to be running stuff.
there's a fine line between mature and innovative - it's a hard line to walk and only the good ones can do it.
only time will tell for all
