how do you guys keep your dual cell bits from fliping ?

General discussions, new info, and all stuff that's how you say, off the hook. Bit, ZZ, SE, MT, SS... as long as it's micro, it's here.

i've seen that little wing mod of leon's in action and it didn't flip once. and we were driving on concrete. it's a fetted dual cell that was clocked on a dyno at 17kph!! :smile:

how did leon make his wing , i cant seem to get a make one that will work and allow the car to charge ( gets in the way of the charging dock)

micro_man: i just cut to pieces of plastic, instead of stick them under the chassis. I use double sided tape to stick them on the sides of the chassis. THen it won't interfer with the chargin plates.

Mini RC Man: what do u mean? Like what paint or something?

I just used Gold Spray Paint. And it's a cheapy $2 paint which after 2 days, all dust stick on it. THe photo was taken 12 hours after painting.

thanks for the idea leon , i will try that after i get some tape or glue . im also geting some pull back wheels for this ,so it should look nice and preform .

here is what i do to get the cars from flipping and rolling over, i just add ground fx as low as possible, the only draw back here is that u can only drive it on smooth surfaces. I just keep one for the carpet and one for the tile floor and such

well sad to say my dual cell bit bit the dust , after a sort but fun life . the rear end got messed up wile i was makeing a pullback axel ... but the batts are still good , so i will just throw it in one of my ms sports with a pink or puprple clone motor , and it should be good . i also plan to put anti flip things on this one as the pull back wheels got ate bye my glue :( .
