yo cabo!
"I can't wait to do more stunt work, MadMax would love my bit." (cut an' paste quote from trc)
max was just mel gibson, the guy behind all the wicked car action is none other than Grant page. Aussie stunt co-ordinator extreme. my woman and one of his sons used to date (the bastard!!!) and grant has continued to be a freind ever since. nice bloke, although he told me some disturbing shit about jumpin out a plain and getting a small branch through the guts!
we've had a few threads go over this (battle bits) on ausmicro ages ago as well. the closest thing i made were two magnets that were coated in thick plastic with one edge exposed attached to the side of my camo BB trailer. if an opposing bit attempted a close overtake or ram my trailer the magnet would fly off and attach to either nuckle pin, or steering magnet. i ripped the coated magnets out of a techdeck dudes feet
you can see 'em in the fore ground of this pic.

yea man, I kind of remember following your conversation.
those are some really cool rides, excellent paint jobs.
I never have gotten around to thinking of anything cool for a battle bit.
once I saw the German lawnmower bit, I thought to myself... now there's a potential bad-ass battle-bit lol
lol gotta be weird being friends with your woman's ex-man's dad
did that last part just sound really "springer-ish"

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
