project: keepin it low and slow

Post by midget_man1387 »

hey guys, here's my newest lowrider... a bB, it still needs paint... it's so low that I had to relocate the idler gear because it was grinding on the rear deck lid thingy lol... needless to say, I'm pleased with how low she is... I can't wait to slap some paint on her!

just FYI: the idler gear relocation took FOREVER to do, because it had to be in the perfect position, or else the gears wouldn't mesh properly. It took probably about two hours to do!!! but i guess all good things take time, right? lol, hopefully I'll paint it this week!

Nice work. I never thought of moving the idler gear. How hard was it to move?

lol it was in the pics, but I have since got it a lil lower(not too much) in the rear and raised the front off the ground.... i mean, this thing was SO low in the front, that the steering knuckles were hitting the body!

hell yeah it was.... a big pain in the ass lol... I had it moved originally, and then it was grinding too much, so I filled in the hole with super glue, and then made a new one about a millimeter the the right and bottom.... big pain in the ass lol... but it's worth it!

Yeah, that is wicked sick. The innovations that pimps continue to come up with never ceases to amaze me. Can't wait to see it done.
