bus
your right, i think that if i shave the front up a touch and put the bumper on the lower edge and then do the same to the rear it will then look even, oh and then there will be a muffler comeing out the back so since all this is going on it will take your eye off the acual height all together, cut the rear window in and add the vent wing post, and split the wind screen with another post, scribe the doors and the tailgates and side gates. man this thing needs some work

casting
well i finally got the casting stuff today, and did some more work on the bus, this body is real light and i lose little power from the weight, it amazing that the chassis is a clone that i picked up at a conveinance store for 4.99 and did some minor tweaking like super glueing the magnet on the steering and making sure it was center and then i resoildered the antenna wire to the pot which gives me hella range, i am calling the screw thingie that you turn on the pcb for frequency tweaking a pot i dunno what its called but i was messing around one day and was testing differant locations on the pot or diff, pins and if it would make a difference in range and it does, this chassis did not have the crip cap so i did nothing really just relocated the antenna. it's pretty slow movin and i kinda like it that way, its a cruiser, and with a light mod and neon it will be kickin, i was thinking about adding a roof rack on the cab, westfalia made a rack for these busses once just to carry a spare tire and a gas tank and such when you were out in the safari or something , i bet i could easily make a rack from a paperclip, i wonder if you can soldier a paper clip
u guys watch it gonna be slamin!!!

samba
here it is again, i did not like the proportions of the last attempt so i scaled out another bus using the wheels as a sizing point, this is what i did , i had a picture of a vw bus and i measured out the height of the wheel and then i used that height as a measuring point to see how many wheels hi the bus was and found out that mine was not tall enought , i had the bus 2 and a half wheels hi in the front and it needed to be 3 wheels high and the same for the rear , i had 1 and a half wheels high and needed two wheels high, so i changed it again, i think that this is really takeing shape now, i like the height and will go with it, i wanted it to be as close to an original and to scale as posible... she's looking good now i think...

i know that the bus isn't quit ready for a car show but u guys just wait and see how it turns out, i will have an updated photo of it tomorrow. If you are in doubt just check out how far my cit came along... lol that was a mess just like this bus, u have to get the proportions right before u start to get it pretty, atleast that is what i keep telling myself... i ain't right.

update on the bus
here is the latest on the bus, i had made molds of the front and rear of the te bus and cast it in resin then i attached to the bus, i thought hey why dont i just cast the whole bus
nah that would be too easy and wouldn't be a pimpin modder then now would i! The new te bus gives me the proportions that i was other wise doing by pictures from the net, so none the less it will be slamin, then i will make the mold of the single cab and cast them for u guys, i am serious, why would i cast them for me, so i could have a whole coral of busses, nope i want to see other people pimpin the bus aswell,
so here are the picts so far.
