You probably shouldn't say it adds horses, it would probably be more proper to say, it gets 15-20% more horses to the ground.

Now that racing stripe, that adds horses to the car. ;)

With that said, I'm probably gonna do it to my prostocker real soon, 'cause I can see how wheel vibration it making it kinda skip along the ground.

lol I appreciate all of the great comments guys! I'm at school right now, but later tonight I'll work on it again.... I think the biggest problem is the fact that the magnet was in sideways lol... I may have to work on that lol

as far as the charger is concerned, I'm using a custom made charger, not 4 aaa batts, but one that hooks into the wall!

how many volts is that charger putting out? 4.5 V is what SuperFly and I use for dual cells, and it works great.

Yeah, 9 volts would be too much. 6v would be the same as a 4-cell charger, but I've found 4.5 to be ideal for dual cells. Also check the mA rating, you want something more or less around 1000mah

i use a charger that came with my dragon micro x tech abrams tank. it's designed to charge the 3.6V nimhs that come with it, but i've converted it into a multi purpose bit charger by adding charging stands and sockets for a dc plug pack. it's meant to be used with 4 x AA batt's which i do when i want it portable, but at home i use a plug pack with the voltage set to, you guessed it, 4.5V! and i charge my single cell bits on it too, i just make note of the charging times with the countdown timer in my phone.
i used to be cool

well, I've got some good and bad news lol... The good news is that I found out the problem(I think) The problem is the fact that the sterring arm that contains the magnet doesn't have a big enough hole to fit the rare earth magnet. Therefore, when I installed it before, it was sideways. I dremeled out a big enough hole, and the magnet now sits straight. Ok, now for the bad news... upon reinstallation, I broke one of the wheels off... I couldn't find any new super glue, so I just used some gooey, almost dried out super glue that I had. I quickly dabbed it on, and kept it straight. I had made a mistake. The glue got into the place between the wheel itself and the knuckle(i used the zipzap wheels). I broke the wheel back off, and attempted to remove as muxh of the glue as i could, getting it to run better. I even put some oil on it to try and slip it up. The thing rolls good, but not good enough. it doesn't roll as well as the other, and, as you may have expected, makes the car veer to the left... I'm quite pissed off at my stupidity, but wanna know basically if there's anything I can do??

wow, that's prolly my longest post ever...

thanks again!

Time to break out the power tools! :-D

Seriously though, when I want to get a wheel spinning faster, I put a crap tire on the wheel, and a polishing wheel on the dremel, and spin that puppy at 50,000 rpms, if that don't do it, a little grease might help.
