here is the update on the crew cab bus, i added front bumper today and did some filling and sanding. this sucka is killin me, i feel like it will never look right!

J lovin the detail on tha pick em up truck. How did you get the VW logo on the front like that? She is comming together great! What is the concept for the paint job? Can't wait to see this sucker good to go crunchie style. Lets all drive on over to the Co Op then after that hit the head shop for "smoking supplies"

thanks finks, let me tell you how it was done, first i ordered the micromark casting kit that came with everything that i need to cast and mold and so forth, so i made a mold of just the front of the new te bus. and casted that from resin, and trimmed it up and popped it on, I thought that it would be very easy to just cast the whole te bus and then chop the top of and make a truck that way but I already started on this thing and will see it through the end! after i am done i will make a casting of the vw truck, if you want one let me know!

here is the update as of today on the crew cab bus, not much left to do on it, just add the side gates and some fine sanding then i will be able i hope to paint it.

please finks define crunchie for me i am in the dark on that term, lol I was thinking about doing a bright yellow with a checkered flag planted on front like it just crashed through it, so the flag would be wavy and wrapped around the front unto the sides of the doors, then some other color accents going down the side to break up the yellow, maybe a lil magents stripe and a swosh inlime green or somthin like that, can you picture that... i will have to cast it first i will not be painting the one pictured i just need all details so that when i cast that sucka into a solid plastic shell then i will paint. is that crunchie, oh do you mean granola like hippie type bus, dude i'm no hippie and i am fighting the image , thats too funny
