Charge 'N' Go Gets Da Rip 'N' Tear Treatment
I got this Charge 'N' Go at Walgreens for 6 bucks. Wasn't expecting much, but it handles good, tracks straight with the steering adjuster dead center. Only problem was the griding gears, and front pins that hung halfway out the wheels. Seemed like it was begging to have the wheels changed, so I put Thunder Charger wheels on it, and Tomy gears so it's nice and smooth. Now it's a pretty decnt car.
I'll probably eventually do a body for this one, but I never had an Accord, so I thought I'd have a little fun with it. It was done really sloppy, so I cleaned it up and shaved all (most) of the molding lines. Then I filled in the front slot to give it a smooth bumper.
I wanted a ripped style graphic, I tried to draw one to cut out, but I couldn't do anthing I was satisfied with, so I just tore tape. Worked perfect, got just the effect I was looking for, and it was almost too easy, I feel guilty for doing it.
I added some tail pipes, painted dthe wheels black, and slapped a Tomy decal on the hood to finish it off.

In a certain way, Dave, you remind me of my grandmother. You'll just be sitting with her, shooting the shit, while she knits. At the end of the conversation, she's cranked out a sweater or a small blanket.
If I had just finished your pro-stocker (yeah, right), I would be needing a 6 month vacation from modding.

@ CD, your ride is nice man. I think the accord body is unique among all the other TOMY shells...... BUT! you gotta chuck that camera of yours out the bloody window and buy a new one!

each to their own man, don't blame yourself....crazydave wrote:I know, tell me about it.ph2t wrote: you gotta chuck that camera of yours out the bloody window and buy a new one!![]()
When I was looking through my gallery, I noticed my pictures have just got worse and worse. Stupid POS camera. (That's easier than blaming myself)
