Serious LXX problem.
Hi there, Denmark calling for help.
Recently a shop in denmark, which i kinda work for, got 50(!) LXX super perfection lambo's(those with the gas station).
The guy who owns the shop, sells a lot of them, but they all get returned, because they will not run, turn, anything.
I have now been sat on the case as i am the "micro R/C moderator" on the forum. I have yet to recieve some of the broken cars, but hey! A lot of them gets returned! I just thought that maybe you guys knew anything about this specific LXX model. - And the problems of course.
Toyeast(where the cars come from), says that they are aware of the weak components - I just have to found out whats wrong with them before they will do anything.
Cheers.
Btw.. I didnt really know where to put this topic...

Ya know... I saw that tutorial before, but never even thought of it once my super perfection light-up Ferarri came and acted up a little... It is driveable, but every so often, the led goes out and it stops for a second... so, thanks c dubya, I totally forgot that that was there... now I have something to do tonight lol.

Ok, i got 3 Super perfections...
On the 1st car, the steering coils in the front of the car, was not glued into place. And some of the wires attached to the coils were broken. Fixed it, and the car worked fine.
2nd car just needed another antenne...
3rd car's controller was screwed - someone had tried to take the buttons out or something like that.
So yes - the components are weak, in the super perfections!

i'd personally go over all the cars before selling them. i know of 2 local pimps with them. one guy says there's no problem with his but brendan 123 has a dud which he's sending to me for repairs. i'll tell you what i find out. as mentioned the soldering is sloppy, my vw bus had headlights rather messily added. i've had all the problems you mentioned in the past buying lxx cars, the rear wheels are rarely straight and i've even had half moulded pinions, the list goes on. but after a good going over they run fine. i just worry about kids who buy them expecting them to be perfect and this might be their only bit. it's ok for pimps like us with tons of spares and the smarts to fix them but if a kid is buying just one then i'd steer them towards a tomy or at least go over the whole car and tx before handing it over.
