UPS Bit

Post by Sdog »

Anyone else got one of these:

Supposedly they were only given to employees as giveaways. I won one from a previous auction, but have resisted opening it. It came sealed and I'm trying to keep it that way. The quality of the body, paint, and wheels looks really good. Nice and clean and looks authentic.

These have a little bit longer wheelbase than your basic bit. But, I have seen other versions with a shorter wheelbase and Dale Jarret (spelling?) UPS nascar in similar packaging but with more yellow.

I have couple of the ups trucks , they have the same extended chassis as the red and yellow hummers that were being sold on ebay a while back. The chassis's are almost a perfect fit for the dub city suv's.I still need one of the ups nascar bits.

Well the last time I saw the Nascar UPS bit on there it was being sold together with another UPS truck with a shorter wheelbase (They must have had two versions). The bidding got pretty high if I remember correctly.

Filelicker...Have you run that thing yet? What is it like?

I opened one of my ups trucks and it is very high torque and speed , does much better on carpet than a regular bit and on smooth surface it will out run a regular bit too.It does tend to flip over while turning at full speed .But the hummers don't and they have the same performance.

Cool....I'm not surpised they flip over due to their high center of gravity.

Those hummers...are they the yellow ones I have seen on Ebay that are packaged with the Chevy SSR?

The body on the ssr is nice, needs a repaint, but the car's inards are crap.(your standard bensu clone) :-)
I picked one up off of toyeast back in the day. It's the same car as the sharper image car but packaged differently.

similar --but different . My neighbor has one and I checked it out to see if they were the same when I got mine.
