I believe ya, it's just a matter of finding an aesthetically and ergonomically pleasing spot for this extra holder
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

mine too kwik, but mine was charged on the OEM bullets controller (the only thing I thought salvagable), I'm going to mod the controller that goes with the car and hope that makes the difference - thats the only thing different from my other dual cell besides 10 mah.

aight the dual's playtime has dropped to 1 min. on a 5 min. charge...
I gotta see if i accidentally toasted a cell whilest soldering or sumthin?!
Damnit what the freak is going on, it's so frustrating... Anyone got any ideas?
Meanwhile i dropped a 160 mah single into another bit at about the same time as i began the dual, and i gave it a charge on my bypassed charger for 2 min. and got a whopping 6 min. run time
.
In the beggining after about 1.5 min. of running it began to studder, so i figured that at this point it was gonna die. then all of the sudden out of the blue it got a 2nd wind a ran for about another 4.5 - 5 min. studder free!
sumthing else i ran into when testing the bypassed charger for the voltage it was spittin' out, i had my multi-band handy so for comparative purposes i tested that as well and here are the results;
bypassed charger: 2.83V
multiband: 2.95V
ok so this confused the hell out of me! i tested them both the same way, by way of the charging pad... so this is bizzare because i was under the impression that the bypass opened up some kind of current block or sumthin'?!

I like the performance of the single 160 cell. zippy, quick mod, just a dropin.kwikbb wrote:Meanwhile i dropped a 160 mah single into another bit at about the same time as i began the dual, and i gave it a charge on my bypassed charger for 2 min. and got a whopping 6 min. run time.

yea i'm pretty stoked about that too! i was really amazed because i was only getting about 1.5 min runtime on a 90 sec. charge via the 4 band (unmodified). so when the car started to studder after 1.5 min. i wasn't really surprised... then when it kicked into OD it really blew my socks off!noxorc wrote:I like the performance of the single 160 cell. zippy, quick mod, just a dropin.kwikbb wrote:Meanwhile i dropped a 160 mah single into another bit at about the same time as i began the dual, and i gave it a charge on my bypassed charger for 2 min. and got a whopping 6 min. run time.

ok single 160mah is only getting 1 min. runtime now... guess the 6 min. was a freak accident or sumthing!
now i'm getting concerned with these batts, hey Namuna have you tested these puppies out yet?
and that goes for anyone else for that matter too!
i'd really like to figure out whats up with these little bastards!

Fellas, before you go out and spend shitloads of cash on a charger, have a look at this. I'm making a custom chrager for these cars. It will have adjustable times, voltages and current.

In the picture below is an example. The car is being charged at 590mA for approx 4 minutes @ 3 volts. It is a stock 60mAh battery and I get about 10 minutes runtime.

I'm developing this into an actual consumer product over the next 2 weeks and hope to start shipping them soon. All you have to provide is a plugpack that dishes out a least X volts and Y amps and you'll be good to go.
And it won't cost the earth like a lot of chargers do!
