the flying banana!

Post by betty.k »

just got my i waver porsche body done. after losing the mirrors in about 1 minute i decided to go without them and the spoiler. this got me onto the idea of going for a minimalist look, just keeping the basic shape with minimal detail. i really could have done more sanding and undercoating but i got sick of waiting! you can see the odd part where some of the original details show through and some halfarsed sanding, but it's gonna get the shit scratched out of it anyway so no one will care!

and as i explained, the scratches come quickly! this is after about 30 - 40 mins of backyard running!

next step is a buncha led's and underglow crap for added night time fun. then i'll slowly sand it back on the road!
i used to be cool

That is lookin' bad-ass, betty. Don't be too surprised if mine is lookin' very similar by the end of this summer.

I like it, looks very smooth and aerodynamic, but lets keep the skidmarks on the ground, and off the car.

Nice racing ride you got there. I like the futuristic/aerodynamic look you gave it. Don't bother about the skid marks on the body. Looks like one of those rides from Hue with that "very hard raced" look
