Motorworks Tanks and The Beastie Boys
Yo everyone!! I recently purchased a motorworks tank, and I'm very pleased... I did so digging and was happy to see a 160 mAH nimh batt and two hardwired motors... The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was even one more gear than the bits have. It's like they did that so that it would drive exactly like a tank... but w/e... The only prollem so far is that the treads dont seem small enough... they slip off when i try and turn... i dunno what the prollem is. I juss need to know if there's any way of fixing this.... all help is appreciated.. thanks pimps!

Yes there is.
Get a small pot of H2O boiling and drop your treads in for a minute or so. Not too long or they will shrink too much and twist. Bird tried this technique when he got one and it was just enough to do the trick.
The only other thing to do would be to splice the tread and reglue it.
I bought a couple of those tanks awhile back on clearance for $4.88 each!! There fun to climb over and around stuff on the table or to have two people go at it and try to flip each other.

I got one wit skirts on the sides. The problem isnt that they fall off the side of the tread, its that they arent tight enough on the wheels to mesh with the gear-like wheel.synj wrote:ya know you coulda purchased one with skirts on the sides -
they prevent it from happening!
I'll try the boiling thing later today... hopefully that should do it.... but rite now I'm off to buy the new Beastie Boys CD! lol
