Car Crushin' Hummer
Here is my Monster Hummer. I extended the chassis wheelbase to match the body and lowered the OL body on the chassis. With the low stance and longer wheelbase, this thing handles pretty well even on the track. I found myself cutting just about every corner.

Thanks!
Yes, it is the RCP Mini 96 track. It uses the new smaller tiles which lets me put more configuration in the small amount of space you see I have to work with. All I would get with the wide tiles would be a boring old oval. Plus the narrow lane width forces you learn to drive the lines better.
I can add blank tiles to it to widen the lanes.

You even get what looks similiar to road debris & rubber build up on your body after a day of racing....

The Mini 96 costs $199 over at miniz-zracer.com. It comes with 72 straight tiles, 12 inside corners, & 12 outside corners. The tiles are 30cm square and you can configure it however you like as long as you have the tiles. It has a smooth side and a rougher "racing" surface on the other side.
You can also buy blank tiles to widen the lanes and off road tiles soon.

I've been using the foam mats for over a year now and stand by them.mikirgra wrote:RCP stuff rocks, but I urge you to check out what the folks over on wegotu are doing with foam mats they buy at Sam's. You can do some really cool stuff for a third of what the RCP tracks cost.
Somewhat new around here. Is it cool to post links, info, etc., about other forums? Nuke this if not.

Atleast until they screw up and do something stupid. You just have to read around to see what happens in those cases.
