I got a couple of these and they are really nice. Look around on ebay. Proportional speed and snappy magnetic steering. Super fast. Swap out bodies with Zips. I love em.

Yah, the price is a bit high, even with propo speed. Still, they are well made little clones. 'Sides, y'know your dope's gonna cost more through a middle man.

Yeah, especially when the middleman is trying to pay for the whole case with a dozen pieces. :-)

Jesus freakin Christ on a stick! I completely missed the two locked threads about this whole circus. Now I understand the cool reception to my original post. If I had been paying attention, and I apologize as I've been busy with projects, I would have said a thing or two as my name came up a couple of times.
First, I was asked to do a review of the cars when I got them. I did that over at TinyRC as I was on that board when I had some time and I didn't know all this shit was going down over here. I never told anyone I wanted an exclusive or to keep the word mum. I never was asked if it was OK for the seller to spill the beans. I am assuming that was someone else who didn't come through. Wasn't me.
Next, I paid 60 bucks for two cars shipped. I don't feel ripped in the least. Yeah, maybe I coulda picked em up in a few months for half that, but what the fuck, I wanted em now. I wanted someone else to do all the leg work to find em and tell me about em and ship em to me. I don't expect him to do that shit for free so I payed the fucking capitalist. That's the way this stinking system works. I accept that. It's the price you pay to play. Now, I also realize that RS buys SE's from the manufacturer for peanuts and sells them at profit. The only real beef you guys got here is you got wind of the original case purchase price and just couldn't see paying for reasonable packaging, research, shipping and someones time. You want it now, for wholesale, and shipped for nothin. Jeez, what a rosy world you live in. Y'know, when I see blue jeans at the mall for 45.00 and I know I can buy the same exact brand at Wally World for 10.00 bucks, I don't walk up to the manager of the Gap and call him an asshole. I just quietly go see Wally. That's called consumer choice. It gives me no right to give the Gap manager grief for his particular method of math.
So, do the fuckin group buy then. Get em now, and get em cheap. No bones with that. Just quit pissin and moanin.
And, BTW, they are great little clones :).

Who is moaning? I don't see any moaning. In fact, this shit hasn't come up for some time.

I won't speak for everyone, but I got all of the information I was looking for. As a result, I made an informed choice to pass on them for now....no moaning.

I'm glad you are happy with your purchase and you feel you got a good deal, but if you are going to continue to try to push these things on us....how about putting up some pics, video, etc. That would be more helpful and constructive than suggesting that people stop moaning and just buy them.

BTW...except for a few kiddies that still have a hard-on for these things, I think the group buy idea is pretty much dead.

........What are the new ZZ's coming out again?

My mistake. ILike I said, I just happened on it. But, I would swear I detected moaning.

Continue to try to push....Hmmm, didn't realize I was doing that. Just thought some would like to hear my thoughts since my name was used in vain. I have taken a couple of pics on film but need to use up the roll, get em processed, etc. Not all of us live in the computer age, lol. And again, I wasn't endorsing them except to say I like them. You buy what you like homey.

Sorry for the double post, but I missed the last two points.

Well, I can kinda see why. I guess it's just us "kiddies" that like these toys. Lottsa animosity to spare on this topic it would seem.

Is this a legitimate question or, as your post seems to imply, you are ribbin me? Jus wonderin as I seem to have unknowingly and inadvertantly pissed all in your corn flakes.

Well, now yur speakin my lanquage bitch! I love em too. I really don't have any new info except hearsay and a hint or two from a sales rep. I'm supposed to be getting a couple in the mail as soon as the warehouse gets em, so I'll know then if they are anything really new or not. But, knowing RS, you'll see em in the stores before I get mine. I tried pumping the sales rep for more info, but my mouth got sore before he would give up any info  .
