One last comment. Some may have gotten the impression from my replies to Namuna that I had flip flopped on the issue. I wish to clarify this. I agree with what Steel just said. It's pretty much what I've said all along. Now, if that makes me look bad, implies coersion, or puts me outside the loop, then so be it.

:EDIT: wait nm, lock this thread after someone does 2 things.

A) admit that it looked like I_AM was being shady (knowingly or unknowingly) by not telling people it was poropo streaing untill after the auction was done.

B) Post some FUCKIN PICS of the GOD DAMN CHASSIS. People say they love them and shit and they are a "good deal" but can't manage to post one fuckin pic of the damn thing without a shell on it.

oh and if I see one more post responding to how justified I_AM was in pricing due to time and shipping rates I will flip!!!!!! Can't you see that is not what people care about anymore, they want proof it's worth what people say. Just post a damn picture and don't drag your name in the mud by sticking up for him, it will get you no where here.

If you insinuated that a product was something that it was not, would your customer be satisfied?

You agree with that Azimov? What? you're outta here, come on let's fuckin' debate. Why is so hard for you to admit I was misled. Others were misled. If I had bought the product it would have been under false pretenses.

What's this crap about 'I'm outta here'? Since when do you throw your hands up in defeat in a heated debate? ESPECIALLY when you had a strong hand in flaming the fire here. I can understand if you're feeling jaded that people think there was a conspiracy you were involved in...Except NOBODY thinks that because, after you explained what happened, we know that you NEVER asked anybody to hold off their review

But what really throws me into a complete brain fart is how people (steel, Az) are STILL refuting the whole 'Capitalism' slant and that it's all in an average business day on eBay (and in general)...We got past that a LONG time ago, we've ALL agreed that you're entitled to your share of the pie and there's cost of shipping and handling and so forth.

The actual PROBLEM has been stated NUMEROUS times, yet people keep going back to the whole 'it was fair because he had costs of shipping and handling and he should make a little money' thing.

Get to the issue we're ACTUALLY talking about.

No CD I would not make the sale because if I did not answer the question I would assume you would not buy the product and in turn would have never been as you called it “Tricked”. The point is whenever you buy from eBay use common sense if it seems to good to be true, if you have unanswered questions, If you have a problem with anything on the auction “Don’t bid on the dang auction” pure and simple! Even if the seller at the time is the only one who has a product up for sale if you fill you might get “Tricked” Just don’t buy it!

I agree its wrong to mislead people in an auction and I would not have all the good feedback I have if I did mislead people but that does not take the responsibility and put it all on the seller people part of that rests on the shoulders of the buyer to do the research and ask some Friggen questions and if the buyer does not get satisfaction after receiving the item then complain and go thru the channels to get it resolved! Many people get on eBay and the first thing they do is expect to get ripped off so they start out with a bad attitude I say again you don’t like it don’t bid!

And that would be the issue of the proportional workings of the RC so ask questions?? Is anyone holding your feet to a fire to bid on the Panthers hell if I_Am was over at your house forcing you to buy Panthers from him ya I to would be pissed but so far I have not seen any forcing going on were you forced to purchase a Panther? And as for advertising here? Again all I have seen in the locked threads is people making an issue out of something that if they had let it go there would have been no advertising (I did not see any proof given of I_Am blatantly advertising his auctions on this site! What I did see is he was getting lots of hits on his Auction because members were making a big issue out of it! I think this will continue to be an issue as long as no one seems to want to drop it all the members that have an issue with it are just seeing who can Cuss and yell the loudest and longest not end the issue!

by no means do we think all ebay sellers are shady and i_spam probably isnt always a con artist. he just picked the wrong group to try it on.

See, that's part of the problem. When I said I wasn't asked to hold my review, another member assumed that meant another lie had been hoisted upon the masses. Not only did the seller lie about someone wanting him to hold the review cause he was trying to hide the steering issue, but he also lied about it being me. But, he never said it was me. It was an assumption made by a member. This became fact in a few more posts, then I denied it was me, BAM accusations of another lie. Y'see, a debate is one thing and I'm all for it. But, coming out swinging, accusing on false pretense, and simply not listening is not a debate. It's an argument. And, to be more accurate, the accusations about me somehow being involved in the lies, profiting, and coersion of innocents came long after I tried to explain the review fiasco. I wasn't ripped off nor lied to, I stated that openly, so I am guilty of coersion by association. Rediculous. I heard about the cars, was directed to the auction, wrote the seller and asked questions, they were properly answered, I ordered the cars. Simple as that. It's what anyone else would do concerning a purchase. I decided, since I have only been above board on this issue and have been accused of lieing, profiting, and cheating the unwary, that it may be better to not present a target to those with a grudge. You call it a debate, I call it a fuckin shame. If you reread the posts, particularly the covertly locked and changed thread, you will see that the assumptions on the part of some members snowballed into a scenario that never happened. You got problems here guys. These administrative strong arm tactics and united fronts against members is a huge mistake. I saw this happen on another forum, but never expected it here.

I did that. Steel did that. The seller did that many times publicly and privately. I asked questions, got answers, and ordered. CD asked questions, didn't like the answers, so he didn't order. Were's the fuckin beef here? Honestly guys, read the posts. You ask for more info, but accuse anyone who gives it as "pushing". If those wishing to answer do so, they are somehow in on the scam. If folks stay quet cause they don't wanna be bitch slapped, then they're withholding info from you. How the fuck do you win that guys?

granted "hog edits" exist, but at the point where a post gets edited, it's always past the point of being useful so the edit is actually more valid - at least it's entertaining lol

I never said it was a matter of lying. And, defending a mod putting words on screen as another member is a silly thing to defend. A mistake was made there. You know it.
