I take real resentment in your accusation of us "covertly" locking threads or mis-informing the masses.
As you should know (if not, you've been under a rock) - our site hasn't grown this widely popular because we lie... from day 1 our goal was/is to educate, inform, and entertain.
granted "hog edits" exist, but at the point where a post gets edited, it's always past the point of being useful so the edit is actually more valid - at least it's entertaining lol

Ya know Cabo its one thing to edit a post but for someone that is involved in accusations against another member to edit the post is just wrong! You admit the posts were edited yet you so casually say it was for entertainment purposes! I’m not trying to get on anyone’s bad side here but if I see something wrong happening then I should have a right to bring it to the attention of the members.

get off your fucking high horses guys. everyones entitled to their own opinion - they might be right, they might be wrong - who cares as long as you're happy with what you've done or not done?

how come we don't see blow-ups like this when someone says for instance, "I think orange and black look great together" and someone else says "no, it looks like holloween"?
because most of us are smart enough to realize that it's opinion and they don't really care if you don't like it, because they do and that's what matters.

True dat Cabo but the reason that you don’t get threads like this regarding colors on cars is because its not one member attacking the integrity of another member and I think that is defiantly what has happened here! I think its great that we all have opinions and can express them that’s the reason I left that other forum because that type of attitude was not allowed but I do not think that when someone’s caricature is personally Attacked and they defend themselves that it is smoothing over something! The one reason I joined in this conversation is because I hate when someone makes blanket statements about something they don’t understand! I don’t have anything to hide in this whole situation so then how could I be smoothing something over??
