The Canon Digital Rebel (300D) dude! Sweet camera and it uses all the Canon EF Lenses.
That's what my wife wants, she's been drooling over it, but her friend got one instead, but that ok, because we're getting her old one, the Nikon.

That's a pretty snazzy camera you got there, cabo, and small too.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

All right I'm feelin a little left out in the digicam coveting going on in here. So here's the breakdown of my gear. Now GIMME SOME LOVE dammit.

Image

1. Canon EOS 10D
- Mounted on top is an IR Transmitter (allows me to use the Flash wirelessly)
- 4gb CF card (I can take over 1,400 pictures, at highest resolution)
- Mounted on the bottom is a Battery Grip. It allows me to use 2 batteries at once, as well it has another shutter-release button (let's you shoot a picture in portrait stance without twisting yourself around

2. Canon 550EX Flash
3. Canon 17-40mm L Lens (for wide angle shots)
4. Canon 100-400mm IS L Lens (Zooooom! with Image Stabilizer)
5. Canon 28-135mm IS Lens (For 'regular' use, with Image Stabilizer)
6. Light Meter
7. Programmable Remote shutter release

Yeah, it can turn into a big production pretty damned quick because I can’t leave anything out (got no damned space).

Here’s the shit I go through for them sexy pics…

- Pull out the poster boards that the stuff is going to be sitting on
- Move the knick-knacks and greeting cards and whatnot (women and their girly shit) off the short bookshelf I use to sit the stuff on
- Get the gear bag out, pull out the camera and slap in the lens I’m going to use, pull out the flash and mount it on its’ special stand or tripod, then mount the wireless transmitter on the camera
- Make sure all the batteries (in the flash and camera) have enough juice
- Make sure all the camera settings are right (ISO, Shutter, Aperture, White Balance, etc…)
- Take some test shots to make sure the exposures are right
- Finally, start taking the pictures

And when it’s done I gotta pack it all back up and put it away.

That’s just my ‘regular’ gear, I’ve got studio gear too (umbrellas, softboxes, strobes) but they’re just taking up space in the tiny-ass storage room we have because it’s just too much hassle to setup and breakdown.

I sooooo wish I had a basement to use as a studio/mod-workarea.
