Thanks guys.

I decided to go with the SSG Silver Graphite chassis for a couple of reasons. Lighter. Can replace individual parts. More customizable. Comes with more parts.

I would have had to buy the towers and other parts with the aluminum chassis. It would of ended up being alot more. I really wanted the Bling of the polished surface, but it would look like shit after a few scrapes and then it wouldn't be so pretty. I also would have to polish it all the time.

Maybe I'll get it for Xmas!! :???:

I also got my Silver alloy shocks, spur gears, motor plate/heat sink, and front bumper the other day. I'm waiting for the chassis and to order some more alloy stuff before I start puttin' everything together.

I will take before and after pics, when I start puttin' everything together. Right now all the parts are in a pile waiting for assembly and everything else?

Also, the Castle Creations purchase will be real soon.

Winterization? :???: Can it be done? Seal up stuff and drive it in the snow? Safely!! (As far as the electrronics go)

@Lord>>How's your Mini-T lookin'? Haven't seen it in awhile.

Haha Sorry haven't posted in a while SG. Big things have been going on since last post.. I am going alittle nuts here :-D I have been bending the front tie rods like crazy so I bought lundsford punishers Ti turnbuckles and stuck them on the truck using the 1/10 ball studs and RPM blue ballcups.. they work awesome and they are guaranteed for life. I read about in the one18th forum.

I also bought a Krystal 3 motor (awesome).

There alot more things to list but I am at work on lunch right now.

I will post more pics and a better description when I get home.

@ The Lord....Sounds like its ready to tear something up!!

I think I'm going to get one of these little killers!!

Probably the 6800 because I think it will be more practical. The 8000 model would just cause too much strain on the gearing and the whole car itself. I can see myself replacing way too many parts with the 8000.

Now I'm in search of some quality rims. Any good suggestions? I've seen a few sets, but none that are anything like I'm lookin' for.

Silver Alloy Rims with a simple pattern. Not the flat dish look, but something thats not too intricate. Plus a reasonable price.

I just find it a bit humorous saying "The Lord". I have a dish washer at work named "Jesus" and I just laugh everytime I say, "Jesus is washing the dishes!!" Or "Jesus is out back scrubing the dumpster."

Haha SG I hear ya.. Devo is short for my last name DeVirgilio. and the Lord part... That was back in the day when I wore trench coats and Goth wear. Glad those days are over... still got alittle evil in me still

Anyways sorry i didn't post when i got home. The latest is:

I have the Mamba 6800 Didn't install it yet cause I am waiting for my new
aluminum chassis from country alloy works.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW
I installed a Novak XXL / Spy as my Reciever / Esc and i have a JR XR3 Fm radio. I installed Deans Ultra plugs all around.

When the Chassis comes in I am thinking about getting another reciever (if ebay has one for cheap) and have 2 cars, the stocker with a few Aluminum upgrades and the brushless Aluminum one.

As for rims I like the crazy nut racing rims... if you want aluminum they are about 54.00 for the set not to bad but expensive. but they also have the same rim for 35.00 but they're derlin they come in white and black, white is dyable btw. GPM makes cheap aluminum rims.

The SSG came today!! :-D :-D :-D

When the Post-chic gave me the box, I thought it was empty. Thats how light this stuff is!! I can't get over how good it looks in person. Bling, Bling!!

I can't wait to get eveything else and put it together!! I gotta order all the alloy stuff now, the arms, rear end, and then the brushless. I think I'm going to order the motor this weekend, maybe. :???:

Have any links for the alloy rims? :-)

Rant mode.....

I hate it when I'm limited to certain colors. When I ask for a different color in a part, the store (online or walk-up) usually replies with this line..."It's a popular color!!, It's what everybody likes!" I say bullshit!!! If you sold different colors, people would buy them. Of course its your most popular color asshole, its the only color you fuckin' sell!!

Hey man... You forgot to rant about the douche up at HobbyClownUSA the other day ago... Here... I'll do it for ya...

Get this... We're back there, milling around by all of the RC shit, and dude comes back and asks can he help us... 219 asks about extended rear body posts for the mini t... "They don't make 'em" dude says... no thought, no hesitation... I'm like(loudly, too) "See, this is why you just need to stick with buying your shit online". Dude looked around on the little rack of mini t shit for a second, and then was like "Well, we don't have any... they should have came with the body". 219 is like "Whatever dude, I bought that here, too, and they didn't." Dude then walked away.

Just because it's not in stock at your store, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, stupid fuck.

I hate that place. Even though I did score a tube of Squadron green putty there lol.

I want to go out there in the middle of the night, cut the power line to the building, kick in a window, and walk out with all of their overpriced shit. Who's in? lol

These are the rims I'm lookin' at. Nice and simple and I can deanodize them and polish them to a nice and shiney look!!

http://www.asiatees.com/display.php?id= ... -T&pid=347

I'm bidding on them.

I've seen others, but none that stand out and are original or to my liking. All the ones I see for sale are the same. So I'm going to get the same and make them BETTER!!

I really want to see a pic of that chassis you got!!! Hurry up and post one. :-)

I might do up another Mini-T with one of the all aluminum chassis sometime too. :???:

I'm thinking the opposite of what I"m doing now. Graphite chassis and Alloy parts, now.

Here are the rims I just got for the Mini-T. At a steal. In the link I put up in a previous post, they go for $26.95 + S&H. I got these for $25 shipped!!

These rims with a little bit of deanodizing and a few rounds of polish will be blingin' in no time!!!

Damn, I never saw that one.

I definitely would have picked up that one!! The chassis I saw from them was only $90 and needed a bunch of parts. The one you got has everything with it!!

Damn you!! I like that one too!!!

Have you gotten it together?

Are you going to polish it?
