Here's a little something I've been working on for a while now. Finally got it done.

You can't really see the red tail lights in back with these photos, but they're there. The red is a little darker in reality, so the normal red tail lights are more noticeable.

Oops, I forgot I didn't take a normal pic of the back. I'll remedy that soon.

I think I might change the wheels. I got some alloys coming soon, so I'll probably switch to those when they get here. I like the wheels now, but they have a very plastic look to them.

There, I managed to get the camera adjusted to get the red tail lights to stick out better. Still shows up better in person though.

Great work! I love the paint and the heatsink is killer detail. As for the rims, I personally love em, they do look a little plastic but if you didn't say anything then I wouldn't think this.

Agreed. I really like the color and the body kit. I'm unsure on the hood scoop, but it's definitely origional. I'm also foggy on the rims, but overall a killer ride indeed. Very nice work Hachi....

ya the whole scoop thing i dont really understand more than i dont understand a need for such a huge spoiler on any car.

i stole this from some website

Every time a wing generates lift (or a spoiler generates down force) it also generates drag. Drag is the natural reaction of the fluid (air) to resist motion through it (the car). Drag is bad, because it slows down the car. So, more down force is good... but too much down force = too much drag, which is bad. Very very high performance sports cars, like Le Mans or F1, have a ratio called the 'lift/drag' ratio. The car designers try and maximize this so that the car has just enough force to get around the corners, but not so much that they are too slow. Indy cars, and ones that are designed like that can have down force on the order of 3G's, at 200mph. That means they could hang completely upside down on the track, and as long as they kept.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, I sure riced this one out! That's ok though. I was actually laughing when I came up with the idea. I thought "SUPER RICE!". LOL

I was going for something original and I think I nailed original, but still kept it somewhat normal. Normal for rice that is. I also made a few airscoops for the roof out of putty, but I couldn't get one that looked right.

Like I said, I've got some alloys coming in a few months or so. I'll get some new pics up when I install them.

BTW, I put PH2T's patented biff in there with dual cells and 3:1 green gears. Handles great. I decided on the wheels when I realized that they only needed a little bit of work to get bit tires to fit on.

Well, those plastic looking wheels kept nagging at me, so I took action. After spending forever working on this car, I had to make it look better. So, I threw in some modifier wheels.

Plus I found out why my camera wasn't focusing correctly and I redid some of the photos on my recent cars.

I usually have many different projects going on at the same time. I like to keep busy while paint, putty or glue is drying. That's why I have one really well painted and modded car, while my other recent projects are just time fillers and dont have as much work put in to them.

I still need to coat the back tires with black silicon.

I appreciate the comments. Especially from you DT :-) . I'm basically trying to use your techniques on alot of the stuff I do. I also get a lot of good stuff from Hue, Crazy Dave and a few others. There's alot of other pimps here that I try to follow as far as mods and body work. Those are just a few.

You should paint the rims the same color as the second tone (the dark grey?). That would crank up the ol "rice factor". Gotta say though, I like em better than the other ones.

Metalic black. That's a good idea, but I'll get some alloys sooner or later. They're getting shipped to the US distributor from Germany. I gotta wait till he gets them and sends them to me. It's a pain, but I can wait that long for alloys.

It's Scala. They have contacts in the US and other places. The US dealer in NJ only has rims for (I think) beamers and has to order the other ones from Germany. It takes him 4-6 weeks to get them, and then he sends them off. You can contact him via e-mail, but he just went on vacation for a few weeks.

Lovin the new rims. They really set off the car, and the tires work better as well.

Your bit looks great, good job, I like the new rims You got on there ok, but I like the first chrome ones better, the first ones kind of look like Super Advan 2 rims the ones used on some drift cars in the D1GP, But looks great, keep up the good work.
