new shoes
here's a closeup of the tires that come in the custom tire and wheel kit. they call them slick, swamp, and all season.
kind of disappointing... i think rs could have done a lot better with the tread design. maybe they'll look better on the truck...

tell me about it... who knows when these will actually show up in a store in my area. there are stores around me who still don't have any of the trucks and some who are now just getting them in.
i get most of my stuff online (in batches of $25 for the free shipping
). these i had the store order for me. actually not a bad deal; takes about a week, but you don't have to pay for shipping even if it's less than $25.

I like the tires. I want some.
The ones on the left look almost like the ones Bigfoot has been running lately, and the ones in the middle could have been a little better, but still I dig the tall mud tire look. Not sure I'd use the slicks much, but they just look sticky.
Did the tire set come with extra wheel nuts?

Yeah just picked them up last night. Really I think it's BS the wheels don't include spare wheel nuts. Those nuts are too damn easy to lose, and what, you're supposed to just give up on your $25 toy if you lose a nut?richh wrote:nope, no nuts or washers, just the wheels and tires.
by the way, awesome paint job on the spidey. been thinking about painting mine, just can't decide on a color.
Meanwhile the motor comes with an extra motor clip. I've never lost or damaged one of them clips. I've got piles of motor clips for my Zip Zaps cause I don't need the extras.

I like the tire set. The chrome rims and mudder tires give the truck a different look. It looks more like a tall truck than a monster. Which I like because really monsters sit down on the wheels more.
Did you notice the wheels look slightly different? And the silver wheels are slightly different than the silver ones that come on the Bigfoot. I've actually seen four different wheels styles. Surprised they're doing that
Thanks for the compliment on the paint job. I'll tell ya, I'm still deciding on a color for mine too, that's why I just did it up silver, silver makes a great base coat for other metallic colors, but I am growing found of the silver.
