Work in progress

Post by HACHI-RYOKU »

Been workin on a car for a while now. I've been puting puty on, sanding reputty, sand, reputty, sand, etc....

I'm not gonna show the body until I finish it. I want to surprise everybody.

I finally got the putty done and I've been painting. Well, in between some coats, I went ahead and fetted the car and dropped in a set of ZZSE batts as well as a better antenna and a SS motor. I had already done the wheel mod and 3:1 gearing switch a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure if I want to keep the purple. I was originally going to do the car purple, but changed my mind to an aqua and silver combination, so I might change the wheels to an aqua/silver combination. But it is what it is at the moment. I cut a bunch of plastic out to reduce the weight.

I'll give you a magic decoder ring if you guess the body.

Yeah, I've still got that one sitting around. I was waiting on a part before I continue. I still want to use that design on clone that I was planning on converting to a Camry. I drive a Camry and thought it would be cool to try something different. We always see pimped out cars, monster trucks and sports cars. I wanted to make a suped up regular everyday car. It'll be my (bit) Skyline killer when I'm done with it. Hehehe

Well, the one at the top will be something very much more sporty. The second chassis that Stagg posted was one that I haven't continued work on for over a month. That's the one I want to make a Camry with.

So,....no decoder ring for finks.

Yep... Yep... I see...

Here's what I'm feelin'... Judging by those particular Scalas, and the hyper speedy mods done to the chassis, and working with the clues you have dropped... I believe that you are making a BMW M3... I'm just not sure what shell you started with... Gloria, maybe?

I say again, the comment about the Camry/normal car was just in reference to the second chassis that Stagg posted. The chassis with the Scala rims and the empty chassis are two different chassis. The empty chassis isn't part of the clue. That's going to be used with a modded clone body to look like a Toyota Camry. The chassis in the first post is the one I wont say what body is going on it.

Oh, and ah......no decoder ring for Bird. :D
