Pantera
Here's my entry for the contest
The front wheel wells have plenty of room for the alloys to move.
Next to the original
Need to think of a name for this one.

that is slick. course I love the color. greens and blues usually tend to sit high on my lists.
love the rim details you added, that really makes the car look a shit ton better, I dunno why I never paint rims. lol
the front is a little bulky for my tastes but smooth job none the less for sure.
I haven't seen a whole lot from ya so I dunno if this is an improvement for you or not, but I tend to think so.
great job mang.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I'm jealous he got the pics of the Super Slick motor in the car up first. I got one in the back half of a chassis, I was testing. Now that I've done it, and seen that I can get the gears to mesh up, I'm gonna do it to a working chassis.
So how does that run HR? I was also gonna be running a SE battery and FETs, but I was using the Purple motor with a 7 tooth pinion jammed on. Had to shave out he hole to get the pinion on. The whole setup was still held down by the motor clip.

Runs good so far, although I just got er done, so I've only been doing light running. I did a ZZ corvette up with fets, 3:1 (green/high speed-low torque), dual cells and an SS purple motor, but it seemed to lag a little on acceleration. The orange is much punchier, which I like. I need to take it out to an open area to get some good runs in to decide how the changes affect the car. I imagine that the ZZSE batts will have less amp output but it should be off set by the fact that the gear ratio is slightly higher (3:1 red), the batts weigh less and the orange motor has more torque.crazydave wrote:So how does that run HR? It seems to control really well with the alloys, but I'll probably have to mess around with tire combinations before I'm happy.
Here's where I got some of my motivation for this car.
The yellow one on the right is one of my favorites.
I had some other places on the net that I pulled pictures from. There was even some influence from some closed circuit Panteras.
Thanx for all your input everybody. I spent a long time on this and it all worked out very well. It is definately the best job I've ever done on body work. This is the 4th time I've tried body work and I've made some large strides from the first time. I wouldn't have even tried body work if I wasn't heavilly influenced by the pimps. So i owe a lot of credit to this place.
