I priced one the other night after Bird showed me it, and it was just shy of $150 to my door. I'm goofy and all, but I don't think I'll EVER pay that much for an Xmod, unless its already decked out with all the goodies (GPM).

You ain't goofy. You're smart. Why the hell would someone pay $150 for an Xmod that will probably hit US shores sometime this year? It's just dumb....

dont think its going to hit us stores, this body is marketed by HPI who got liscensed to make and deal xmods in japan and other foreign countries.. and this body is made strictly for those coutries and not for the americas.. but maybe its possible that radioshack will.. i highly doubt it though

edit; click the ebay link that someone posted and look at the case, the picture of car has skyline rims, and in package look like the stock i waver 8 spokes. .whats up with that?

So it's a Skyline kit with an STi body, big deal. The point is, It's a WRX Xmod. That's the first new car I've seen since the Mustang, Camaro, and NSX. I don't see why RS wouldn't make em for us. Xmods are popular enough to warrant it. Call it wishful thinking..........

still wouldn't pay $150 though

Features:
True-to-spec modular body, looks like the real Nissan Skyline in 1:28 scale
Anybody else catch this on Dinball?

Hold on there Kimosabe. I think HPI makes ALL the Xmods, including the one's sold by RS here. Also, I'm willing to bet that you WILL see the WRX stateside. Other rally cars too. Possiblt JGTC cars as well.

but wait!

The WRX is hitting shelves in the states in a couple of weeks  . I have to get a contact state-side to start warming up so that they can wrestle with you guys before you all snuff them all up.
